Renewing netflix tomorrow and need suggestions on what to watch. Ive watched/enjoyed : the walking dead / prison break thats pretty much it. I gave other shows a try - such as 24 and lost, but didnt like them. I will be giving breaking bad another shot. What other tv shows are great / addicting? Same goes for movies. I need suggestions. thanks in advance.
You gotta go Breaking Bad or Dexter if you want a drama. If you're looking for a comedy, Parks and Recreation is an obvious must. I haven't watched these, but I've heard very good things about Orange is the New Black and Scandal. Mad Men never has interested me but people love that show so that could be a good one too.
I just started watching Arrested Development on Netflix. I am thoroughly enjoying it. Another good series to watch is a British Comedy called the IT Crowd.
I'm not sure all of these are still available, but I know they were at one time Movies: The Big Lebowski Let The Right One In ("Let Me In" if you want the American version) The Bothersome Man I Saw the Devil The Man From Nowhere Castaway on the Moon Lars and the Real Girl The Intouchables Cabin in the Woods Clerks Dead Snow Drive Memento It's a Disaster Super Battle Royale Bronson Goon Safety Not Guaranteed TV Shows It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Louie Breaking Bad Arrested Development The Office Parks and Recreation Dexter Wilfred The League
Peep show (UK) Louie Portlandia Orange is the new black The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret All of the Ken burns Documentaries And some of the shows mentioned above, starting with BB.
oldboy jackie brown pulp fiction Breaking Bad of course!!! Dexter (4th season was the last good one imo)
Shows: - Orange is the New Black - Dexter - Breaking Bad (Must watch) - Supernatural - Sherlock (Must watch) - Arrested Development You have to watch Breaking Bad and Sherlock.
I love Orange is the New Black! I cant wait for the second season, i hope they dive into Crazy eyes more, i want to know her backstory.
im more interested in tv shows than movies....so i'd prefer the majority of suggestions to be tv shows. with that said, when did dexter hit netflix? i heard its good - is it?
I liked white collar. Breaking bad is great. Sons of anarchy us fantastic. Walking dead is pretty good. I hear scandal is good, along with orange is the new black. I tried getting into house of cards, which i heard was good, but couldn't.
I think Dexter is on par with Breaking Bad for the first 4 seasons, but it gets considerably worse after the 4th season.
just did some brief research on Orange is new black - and it appears it has a lot of nudity - both male and female private part nudity? not comfortable watching that sort of stuff with little sister around - she's only 4, but i wouldnt want her seeing that.
Dexter got on Netflix about a month ago i think. Its a really awesome show until they get to the point where to many people know about his secret and it goes past what the show was meant to be. i didnt even watch the last season because i didnt want to completely ruin my memory of the show...
oh yeah its definitely more for an adult audience but i would still recommend it for when your alone and could use some laughs... it has nudity but its not totally in your face trying to be sexy or anything. I wouldn't recommend you watch Breaking Bad around the 4 year old either, its still a fantastic show though. if you want something to watch with the youngster you could maybe get into to Parenthood or something...
