I’m on episode 2 right now, and I’m sorry, but can we just stop it already with the cliche evil cartoon bullies with no conscious that we constantly see in all these movies and shows?
Did they "shoot the duck"? Anyone ever go to that skating rink near Clear Lake City Hospital to hang out? And, they would have this contest every night where you would "shoot the duck" and square off against other skaters with "Simon says" type stuff where you do various stuff in the rink on skates until there is just one skater left standing who hasn't fallen. That person would win like a soda and a hot dog or something. I'm sure this wasn't exclusive to just this skating rink but it was THE skating rink where the CLC-ers hung out back in the 80s. For some reason, I had a flashback to my youth when you said this Reeko. As far as this season of Stranger Things, I read it lacks the spark of the earlier seasons and is too drawn out in longer episodes. I'm not in a hurry to see it but will eventually.
Im not siting there watching my friend or girlfriend get treated like that. my first action is not the DJ booth. 11 has a trash friend group, they only stand up to monsters and cave creatures it would seem.
The first episode was def boring IMO. It gets better. Steve and Dustin are are still a hilarious pair. They need a spin off.
Just finished S4.1. Was fun. Lots of things going on at the same time. Will was the only one that bothered me on there aging front. He went from the shortest on set to the tallest.
Enjoying the show so far, but these "kids" have aged out of there characters and did not hone their acting skills in the interim. That Nancy chick does not look healthy and gives me Karen Carpenter vibes.
S4 part 1 was enjoyable the episodes are definitely long and drawn out…only the finale would go over an hour in the 1st 3 seasons, but in this one, every single episode is over an hour, and the finale is movie length I already talked about the cliche, evil, no conscious having cartoon bullies, so I’ll leave that alone Yuri annoyed me with his goofy overracting…calm your ass down felt like they came up with solutions a little too easily throughout the season Robin’s lesbian plot point was picked up, and then dropped before u could blink…grand opening, grand closing still enjoy most of the crew and characters…never really liked Eleven tho, so when it’s just her, I get bored easily and keep thinking “Can we get back to Steve and them, or Joyce and Murray, or Hopper?” villain looks like a Red Skull remix overall - 8/10
Those are exactly my thoughts also. The level of acting was enough when they were younger but it doesn’t work now. Elevens acting is so blah. Nancy chick is just skin and bones.
Agreed. The bullying and Yuri don't bother me because THAT'S SO 80s!!! It was a big part of it the Nostalgia Similar to the Kobra Kai stuff Rocket River
