Adam Sandler is a scout for the Sixers..... and discovers this new prospect in Spain played by Juancho Hernangomez. Looks really interesting and already out on Netflex.
Haven't seen this yet, but... Sandman has been a great actor for a long time. But he's also a really nice person, so he often makes movies with a bunch of his friends because that's how they make most of their money. Plus, while I would rather never watch Grown Ups, it does have its own sizeable audience.
Two reasons this movie is great: 1. Kenny Smith 3 point shot during Rox championship run at end credits 2. No Fat Harden in this movie about the Sixers
The fact that whoever directed this actually got random NBA players to act well is astonishing. Best acting from an NBA focused movie that I've seen so far.
Not much lol. But Space Jam (both of them), Like Mike, Thunderstruck (lmfao), that movie with Common and Queen Latifah, Trainwreck. This one was great.
Given yall's reviews I'm definitely checking it out. In non-NBA-centric movies that involve basketball, LeBron was surprisingly good in that Bill Hader/Amy Schumer romantic comedy thing several years ago.
one of my pet peeves is when people make movies about basketball and the actor can't hoop. It might be easier to teach someone to act than to d. Sometimes I forget how difficult basketball is... (because im amazing) They put Lucas from stranger things on the bball team and they had to edit everything to oblivion just to make it look like he could shoot a regular basketball. i was disgusted.
Then so should Teen Wolf, or better yet Airplane. The Air Up There? Air Bud? If yall have never seen The Fish Who Saved Pittsburgh, you really really should. For reasons.
