Nene Hilario has a groin injury which he got while playing at Pete Newell's Big Man Camp and won't be available for Brazil in the World Championships.
This seems to be quite a trend -- people hurting themselves training in the offseason and being unable to play in the World Championships. I get the feeling it is some kind of plot to make sure only the Americans have NBA players that can play in the event. Of course, we've had plenty of injuries too, but we've got such a large pool to draw from, it doesn't much matter. I feel a conspiracy coming on.
