NCAA: Scheduling Change Question

    I notice how the NFL rotates its divisions.

    What is the primary reason why the NCAA cannot do the same?

    ie. BIG 12 South
    plays its Division and SEC East this year
    SEC West next Year
    Moutain West the Next
    PAC 10 North the next
    PAC 10 South the next
    Big 10 the next
    and back to the SEC EAST
    [just an example]

    I think that would very interestings and exciting

    Is the main reason money?

    Yes. That and tradition/rivalries.

    Probably travel expenses as well (not saying this wouldn't be easy to solve, just saying it would be an excuse they would throw out.)
