Tech would have to somehow jump 5 teams to make it to the NC game (assuming y'all are in the 7-9 range). I don't see that happening even with OU losing and Tech beating Mizzou in the B12 Championship.
That is true. I really think TTU should have a solid case if they do win the big 12. Your the conference winner being the main argument... But realistically we need USC to lose, Texas, Florida to FSU(we need bama to win out)..and of course OU losing to OSU....Alot of stuff has to happen but it did last year and has happened before... I think Tech would get the edge over Utah/Penn State.... I just hope Tech doesnt end up in the freaking cotton bowl. I'd rather travel to San Diego than to Dallas that is not very attractive.
What bothers me is the fact that the SEC is freaking 1-2 with a lot of human pollsters. Honestly, Tech still has a shot but not a real good one. Tech needs all other 1-loss teams to lose. In that situation, Tech would go to the NCG I'm pretty certain. Honestly, I think there's a chance of UT, OU and Tech all playing SEC teams in bowl games this year and all three winning handily.
Who would be the third SEC team? I thought there couldn't be two bowl games that were Big 12 vs. SEC?
