NBC's 'Green Week' (Sunday Night Footbal..)

So I'm going to assume that your issue here is not with the message, but how it is delivered?

No doubt money has a large part to do with who gets a say in what gets on the air, and Toyota has a lot more pull than something like.. oh say.. an insulation manufacturer.

Like Jay said, they're in the business of making money (both NBC and Toyota), so they're going to do whats profitable. Expecting them to do otherwise isn't realistic.

Raising energy conservation awareness? Good idea.

Using untold amounts of resources and energy to make it happen? Bad idea.

 

Sorry. I sometimes start posts, go off and do something else and then hit submit without looking at the recent posts. I realized my mistake when I went back and read yours.

It's no problem, I shouldn't have put so much thought into it. It's just I wanted to be sure I wasn't misreading what he said because it looked to me like he was saying that people who are environmentally conscious are gay.

 

I thought the whole thing was ignorant as well but maybe they got through to some people and made somewhat of a change. I don't know.
