Lol wanna know a funny tidbit of information? The year the Cavaliers got Irving their slogan going into the draft was " 1 4 all and all 4 1". Guess what picks they got that year??? The number one and number 4.

Adding to that fact the number pick that got the number one overall? Was the Clippers pick who were outside of the top 5 worst records?

The NBA says the draft is not rigged because they have people and third party arbitrators who sit in on the actual lottery. Well if they have arbitrators why can you not just make the whole thing transparent and do it on live TV? Such a small thing to ask for....

Lakers get favoritism yeah, but there is also a long history of hate towards Houston.

Mark Cuban beat the odds. We are talking about a team with Terry, Nowitzki, Chandler, Kidd, Butler, Barea, Novak. That team was solid defensively and Nowitzki was still relatively healthy.

Houston beat the odds in 1993-1994. Then got some favorable officiating in 1994-95. Still remember the Olajuwon 6 step in the open court after a steal and Drexler slapping Penny in the eye and Penny getting called for the foul.

NBA favors teams with stars and the Lakers are always stacked with stars on their team.

Those numbers were before hackashaq. The final numbers were a lot worse.

This game wan't rigged but the refs were certainly prepared for it!

I don't think the draft is rigged. Too many hands, can't keep them all quiet. But the refs? Sure. It's not even a question.

Just ask yourselves this. Throw away the facts, the insults, the theories. Everything.Just ask yourselves this.

When is the last time you had a discussion about the NFL being possibly rigged. How about MLB? How many times is rigging in NBA brought up?

Ever heard the saying, where there is smoke there is fire......It applies here. The NBA is not 100% legit. You don't need insults, or facts to see that. Check out Portland vs Lakers. Hell, check out Rockets vs Mavs. Remember the whole "Yao is being reffed differently"....What about Miami vs Dallas?

Notice I didn't say how much rigging, or how high up it goes.

The Ed Rush story today about him offering 5k or a trip to Cancun to an official that tosses Arizona's coach sure was swept under the rug quickly by the Pac 12. It's naive to think that officials aren't given directives like this regularly.

I think that people forget that the NBA is a business first. Its all about doing what makes them the most profitable. Basketball itself is sort of secondary in importance in that sense. If you ran your own business, wouldn't you put yourself in a position to make the most money?

Nope. Mavs went Hack-a-Howard, Mavs were making dumb fouls, and then you had your usual fouls that were just in the flow of the game.

Mavs just sucked last night. Plain and simple.

Of who it is rigged for?

In the examples you gave, you implied one series was rigged FOR the Mavs and another series was rigged AGAINST the Mavs. That would require some pretty convoluted logic and motivations. It doesn't make sense. Why would the NBA 'rig' Heat vs Mavs in 2006 and then allow the Heat to be beaten badly by the Mavs in 2011?

Sometimes officiating mistakes are just mistakes.
