    Yes, if Utah loses, the magic number is 1...in a 3 way tie, we would be the 7 seed, and utah or the lakers would get the 8th seed based on tiebreakers

    Utah 1-2 Rockets, 2-1 Lakers
    Lakers 1 - 2 Rockets (+1), 1-2 Jazz

    Even if the Lakers beat us, it's 4-3 us, 3-3 Jazz, 3-4 Lakers

    actually no we're 3-1 v Jazz, so it would be 3-4 for them as well

    however, since we would be ahead under the the three team criterion, the tiebreaker for utah v lakers would resort to a two team knockout, in which case utah's tiebreaker wins.
