I wonder if the Mav fan base is now crying how some players should be traded since they lost to a sub .500 team
They had Barnes post up Barea...should have been a sure 2 points or a kick out for an easier shot...instead it ends up with Barnes trying a post fade away. You think at that moment they'd stop giving it to him...they draw up the very next play for him...puzzling. I was wondering if they were trying to lose the game at that point.
That 2-3 zone really had the Kings all out of sorts, I dont know what Walton was thinking...well i dont really think much of him tbh.
As someone who got Fox and Hield in a trade... then picked up Bogdan after Fox's injury... I have tuned into a few more Kings games than I ordinarily would have... and this isn't a one time thing. I am dumbfounded how they continue to time and time again, game after game, try and force Barnes to be the go-to. I'd rather the ball in Bogdan's hands every day of the week.
The Knicks have 4 wins. Two of them are against the Mavs. If that doesn't cause your fanbase to commit suicide, I don't know what will ...
Caruso has a crap load of blood on his compression leggings and is still allowed to play? Get that guy off the court!
Yikes...Melo is 4 for 18...CJ (8 for 21) and Dame (8 for 24) not exactly helping either. Edit: throw Bazemore in there too...3 for 11
On paper they seem like a terrible matchup for us. They are so good defensively. Davis covers so much ground and lebron hasn’t been this active on defense since his Miami days. I wonder if they will try to double James all game or just play straight up. I don’t see what we can do about AD. We will probably have to just accept him or lebron will go off and try our best to make the other a volume scorer and hopefully shut down everyone else.
I think maybe you'd just have to go small as crazy as it sounds and hope you can put Davis and their other bigs, Dwight and McGee on skates and make them try to adjust to you than the other way around. Should be interesting. We probably have the best guard rotation in the NBA (We do) and they have the best big rotation in the league.
