My friend just called me and told me what happened to him yesterday. He works at a gas station downtown and he said that Chad Stanley came in yesterday to fill up and then left. My friend didn't talk to him right then because Chad paid at the pump. A little while later Chad calls the station to complain that the price of Diesel is too high. He wanted to talk to the Manager but he was not there. My friend told him, that the prices are marked on the sign out front and on the pumps. If you didn't want to pay that much you didn't have to. There is another station across the street. You could have gone there if you wanted. Chad then gave him his number and told him "If he's (The manager) man enough, have him call me....I'm Chad Stanley, I play for the Texans." My friend: "Who's that?" Chad: "Houston's football team." My friend: "No, who's Chad Stanley?" (he knows who he is.) Chad: (with a slight pause) "If he doesn't call (The Manager) I will have my attorney call him." He hangs up right after that. I thought it was funny and wanted to share.
Chad Stanley is a friend of a friend...and while I haven't met him, I've heard nothing but great things about him...what a nice guy he is, etc.
