Giannis deserves it for taking the Raptors to 7

I like how Max used PER to compare them offensively. Not a solely offensive stat and is the only somewhat offense based stat that would corroborate the claim that they are “close” offensively. Bunch of horseshit.

The separated stats available(win shares, tpa, bpm) all show Giannis as a much better defender, but they also show that on offense it’s Harden by a landslide and that combined Harden had the better season.

Get out of here with this MVP talk. No one cares.
Season is done. Champion has been crowned, draft for next season is done and now they are going to award people for the previous regular season?

NBA has lost their damn minds. This needs to be announced at the end of the regular season.

That alone tells you that Harden won't win it. He doesn't want to be in the room and be forced to smile when a lesser player is handed his trophy.

It's a regular season award that is supposed to have been voted on before the playoffs even started (although my gut would absolutely question the integrity of that process.) Hypothetically, though, the Bucks and Rockets could have been swept in the first round, and Giannis and Harden should still be the top favorites for the award.

Regardless, this awards show crap after the playoffs is utter nonsense.

I still stand behind what I said in the OP 1000%...Harden had a season for the ages, it’s a joke that he’s gonna lose to the Brick Freak

    vegas odds:

    giannis wins mvp -3600
    harden wins mvp +1400

that means there's basically no chance harden won. don't even get your hopes up. vegas always knows about these things beforehand.

It’s funny how harden had to go through the pain while posting historic seasons numbers for multiple years and being snubbed multiple times to win his MVPs, but the brickfreek wins it from the first time he was in conversation.

Argghhh, back to hating Windhorst @ElPigto ;)

Windhorst: Giannis got my #1 vote, Harden 2nd. I don't think the vote will be that close. Reason I went with Giannis is not only his team had the best record but he was awesome defensively. Also offensively but defensively. I know Harden has improved on that end. I also voted for Giannis for DPOY. I don't think he'll win that award but that's how highly I thought of his overall play this year.

Who cares. Harden only way he win his second one is if everyone else was injured. If he doesnt win even with this historic season, hes never gonna win one again, it is what it is.

Yet people want to say that Harden is the one who’s hard to watch? Lol, Giannis has no smoothness to his game whatsoever and can’t shoot, his game is so hideous.
