New Arcade Fire album is set to be drop on October 29th and is definitely my most anticipated release of the year. Today though they've released the first single, "Reflektor." Featuring David Bowie on vocals and produced by James Murphy. As expected, it's pretty ****ing fantastic. <iframe frameborder="0" height="33" scrolling="no" src="http://soundowl.com/embed/5y76" width="413"></iframe> (give it about 10 seconds to load)

Good stuff. They also made another one of those html5 "interactive" videos for the song. https://www.justareflektor.com/

As much as I liked the first few minutes or so of the song, it got pretty repetitive the last few minutes. I like the James Murphy influence.
I thought the last one was a bit cheesy. But the funeral was an honest to god masterpiece. And neon bible was very good also.
They have talked about it in previous interviews. They have young children and want to spend time with them for a few years. I think you could see a 6-8 year window in between albums after this.
A couple of new tracks are awesome (We Exist and Afterlife) Reflektor and the other 2 that have already been released are ok. Looking forward to this album.
