Agree to disagree. These were smear campaigns and, unfortunately, there's a lot of idiots out there on social media who do or did believe every word they read.

If you really do want to know, why are you so opposed to the Mueller investigation? It seems like to know what happened, you'd want and need a thorough investigation.

They were ineffectual "smear campaigns" there are a lot of troll farms going at it during campaigns, that's not what people base their opinions on. Hillary Clinton came in as one of the lowest likability numbers among presidential candidates and it only got worse as she ran a bad campaign and her incompetence/criminal behavior while secretary of state came to light....none of which had anything to do with Russia.

Blaming Russia is an excuse for the DNC running damn near the only candidate that could have lost to Trump. They falsely believed that they could run anyone they wanted and people would support them "just cuz" and that's not what happened. The sooner our friends on the left accept that fact, the sooner they can get to work ensuring it doesn't happen again.

Again, that wasn't the goal kiddo. I'm not sure any way that I can make it more clear to you that your feelings are irrelevant to....well, just about everyone.

So I am assuming we can quash the idea that there were a few rogue trolls on their own spamming Facebook like some believed.

We know that the budget was close to 1.5 million dollars a month (at least).

We know that this was sophisticated, with the money coming through Russian corporations.

We know that at least some of these Russian corporations were owned/ran by people with close ties to Putin.

We know that the interference was to help Trump and to suppress minority voter turnout and push third party candidates like Jill Stein.

We know that there was direct interaction between some of those indicted and the Trump campaign.

We have no proof that those in the Trump campaign that worked with these Russians knew their motives or who they were.

These Russians also financed and helped with Trump rallies.

Also promoted Bernie, and 3rd party Stein.

May not be all new to the INTEL community and may very well be part of the reasons for them to said this was well coordinated and reaches to the very top - Putin. We all now just starting to see some of this because of the indictments.

I wondered how he would try to contort this one.

So President Trump, do you still deny that Russia interfered in the election?

    From the indictment as well:

"Defendant ORGANIZATION had a strategic goal to sow discord in the U.S. political system, including the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Defendants posted derogatory information about a number of candidates, and by early to mid-2016, Defendants' operations included supporting the presidential campaign of then-candidate Donald J. Trump ("Trump Campaign") and disparaging Hillary Clinton. Defendants made various expenditures to carry out those activities, including buying political advertisements on social media in the names of U.S. persons and entities. Defendants also staged political rallies inside the United States, and while posing as U.S. grassroots entities and U.S. persons, and without revealing their Russian identities and ORGANIZATION affiliation, solicited and compensated real U.S. persons to promote or disparage candidates. Some Defendants, posing as U.S. persons and without revealing their Russian association, communicated with unwitting individuals associated with the Trump Campaign and with other political activists to seek to coordinate political activities."

So it has gone from this is all a high level conspiracy to get Donald Trump involving democrats and republicans, including people he appointed.

To...... There was no Russian interference in the election......

To..... There was no Russian interference in the election, I asked Putin twice.....

To..... There was Russian interference in the election, but it didn't change the election results and my campaign had nothing to do with it.

President Trump has suddenly become quite flexible on points he has been absolute about for a year.

If anyone doubts how this may have impacted the election... compare Stein vote totals in a few of the key states with the vote difference between trump and Clinton...

That's a reasonable summary. We also know the efforts: attacked his leading primary opponents; organized not-only Trump rallies but contributed to post-election anti-Trump events; supported, in some measure, Bernie Sanders.

What people, even those on the far right really have to recognize: it's not all about Trump. They just want to **** us up as much as possible: get us as confused as possible and get us hating each other as much as possible. They could easily support someone on the far left, if that campaign looked the most divisive.
