Just a few weeks ago the trump supporters were celebrating the barr's redacted report, saying "exonerated" and "no collusion, no obstruction."

And now... this is what they have been reduced to.

More word games... "grappling with the word suggest". In other words... that would be "yes".

He did not based on guidelines by DOJ that a sitting president can't be indicted. that is clearly stated in the report. Also he did not exonerate as well. Barr saying he did not exonerate as well.
if there is nothing to exonerate.. why would both say they did not exonerate. and why would president claim he is exonerated. ( No Collusion , no Obstruction).
Nothing is going to come out these anyway. it is what it is. if we think Trump misbehaved go and vote.. if we think he did not go out and vote. that is the only way. watching this testimony is waste of time.
After watching Ted Cruz, i am better switching off and getting out. he is bringing Kavanaugh Treatment now.

Senator Harris (and earlier, Senator Klobuchar) performed extremely well in her questioning of barr. Perhaps not surprising due to her background as a prosecutor and state attorney general. I look forward to seeing her in debates...

Criminal conspiracy and obstruction of justice were both possible crimes identified in the report. This isn't hard.

investigations are typically done to determine if a crime was committed.

no. they are done to determine who committed a crime. like 'who robbed the bank'

heres a simple question. in what way was the special counsel's investigation hindered? they havent stated they were handcuffed in any way. they had a limitless budget, two years, and a limitless scope.

Not necessarily. If someone is dead in their house, it may or may not be murder. There may or may not have been a crime committed against that person. Investigations are carried out all the time to determine if a crime was committed. It's how authorities determine if they want to bring charges against someone.

Absence of crime doesn't necessitate there is no basis for obstruction of justice;. " This is what Barr said just now. you can see the exact statement when you read the testimony.
I am not qualified to answer your question but I believe AG Barr answered . the crime in question is obstruction of justice. No one claimed there is no obstruction of justice.

    No, they aren't.

The whole special council's directive was to investigate russian interference in our election, and any crimes uncovered.

    And an easy answer.

Not appearing, deleting information / records, lying, instructing others to lie.

Well this. It's up to Congress. At the end of the day, Barr's expert legal opinion on obstruction and conspiracy is completely irrelevant to an impeachment. Congress decides what is a high crime, and what is a sufficient burden of proof. This arguing back and forth about why Mueller recommends or doesn't recommend charges doesn't matter. If the House wants to take the plunge and start proceedings or they're going to sit on their hands, that's all that matters.

    Wow!

"Can we have the notes of your conversation."

"No. Why should you have them?

And Leslie swoops in to save the AG and end things.
