Didn't Reynolds campaign hard for the Deadpool role and a spinoff? And now Green Lantern? Is he a comic book fan or is he looking for a big payday?
So if they ever do make The Avengers movie how would they pay all the actors? Would they all have to take a pay cut for this movie compare to what they would be making on their solo movies. like Ironman, Thor, Hulk .. ect

it's not. It seems this is Reynolds playing the character he always plays, or they are going for Iron Man.
It does have a more of an Iron Man feel to it, still not sure how this will playout, still think the outfit looks kind of goofy.
I think it looks great. Not a big DC guy, but GL is my favorite in that universe. I'll have to see what my GL-nut buddy says about the trailer.
It really felt like they were going with Iron Man to me. On a related note I wonder if the future Iron Mans will take on Tony Stark's alcoholism.
They kind of touched on it in the 2nd movie but there was so much other stuff going on it kind of just feel by the wayside, storywise. I don't know if they'll devote a whole movie to it now that everything is pointing towards the Avengers flick.
Can anyone recommend a story arc or trade paperback to read? I've heard a few good things about Green Lantern over the past year.
I thought he was already playing Deadpool's spin off of the Wolverine Origins movie. How many super heroes can Ryan Reynolds be?
