ovbiously, you have to be willing to accept the reverse aging as the fantastical element. so that's a given.

but the 10 minutes of the backward clock bit has no relevance to the story.

the hurricane looming had no bearing on the story.

way too many flash forwards to the hospital.

the daughter seems way too unaware of her mother's life. i mean 43 years before she had a kid and you know nothing of that time about your own mother? what about that huge scar on her leg?

seems as though pitt could have spent almost all of the kid's formative years as her father, rather than traveling the world barely seeming to reverse age.

the mother goes to live with this kid from when he was effectively 6 or so until death and the daughter knows nothing of that either?

the whole thing just seemed too contrived and not very well executed, IMO.

esp the ending
I think the whole descending into a baby thing was stupid
As a friend said. . it would have been better
if he just started looking like a Man size baby . .
