They have probably already made it all back. I am surprised Lucas even sold. Even crappy Star Wars movies print money. Don't forget the toys, convention, licensing etc.
As long as it is on par with Rogue One I'll be happy, but yes the title is not becoming. The Corellian Smuggler The Smuggler General
Sure, if the movie is good, it's good. Title will still suck. Both of yours are way better and you probably spent 2 seconds thinking them up, lol. They were clearly concerned that some audiences (international?) needed to have Star Wars in the title. Then they could have just not had Han Solo in the title. Han Solo: A Star Wars Story vs. Star Wars: The Smuggler General Easy peasy
I am so disappointed in the title of this movie that I'm certain to pay money to see it!!!! Honestly...I feel like we knew this was going to be the title for a long time. I could not care less. I care about the content of the movie, though...and how it handles one of my favorite fictional characters of any genre.
Title doesn't bother me either, although I would have died happy to see the title... "The stuck up, half witted, scruffy looking nerf herder: A Star Wars Story" To be followed by Chewbacca movie "GrrrrRRRrRrrrrr: A Star Wars Story" Would have set up a great Obi Wan title..."That's No Moon: A Star Wars Story"
I mean, listen, we're talking about the title, not a movie, not a movie, not a movie, we talking about the title. Not a movie. Not, not … Not the movie that I go out there and watch for and watch every movie like it's my last. Not the movie, but we're talking about the title, man. I mean, how silly is that?
