So I was talking to my brother today, who is only 18 months younger, so we were essentially twins. He has 4 boys. The two younguns were easy, but the others aew now 17 and 19 and I've got uncle gifts. SHOCKER: My Uncle was a drunk and would give us such stupid twin gifts that Nick & I would just stare at each other. So... I just talked to Nick and we both think it would be funny to be the worthless gift uncle. It has to 2. like shake-weights. Bring it!
Go to thrift store / Goodwill store. Buy the ugliest, crappiest, polyester, cigarette-stained shirts you can find. Take them home and iron them all nice and pretty. Wrap them nicely in tissue paper. Put them in nice boxes. Gift wrap boxes in nice, appropriate wrapping paper. Gift gifts.
You’re brothers close in age, you’re not essentially twins. As for gifts, how about be thoughtful and give something nice as opposed to propagating crappy past experiences ?

Mike Love (the d-bag from the Beach Boys that always wears a hat to cover his bald head) gave his nephew Kevin Love, the bball player, a stapler for Xmas when Kevin was a young boy.
When we went to the same college and the same fraternity, people always assumed we were. As to the gifts? My brother & I still laugh at how awful the presents were. That alone is better than a thoughtful gift.
1. Something that takes an ass load of different types of batteries, the more rare the type the better. And you did not pick up batts. Uncle frank always included batteries, was such a nice touch. He had the best uncle gifts ever, that easily could have been disappointing without the batteries. 2. Cheap loud musical instrument, preferably of the percussive variety. (more of a parental burn) 3. 4. Scrape the bottom of kohls and palais royal clearance bins for the best gems. Make sure they're going to fit. 5. Tickets to something crappy you like, they have to go with you to use them. The more expensive the better, ruder it will be to not go. Parents will make them. Bring inappropriately warm sandwiches, no nice free meal out of this.
When I was seven, my uncle gave a Central American family some chickens in my name and gave me a card explaining it for Christmas. :|
