Here's trump retweeting a tweet by a candidate running against AOC and trying to make a name for himself through social media. Along with other odd efforts and positions, the candidate is a fervent supporter of trump, believes in lots of odd conspiracies including the one accusing Bill Gates of secretly being behind coronavirus and calling it a hoax. Again, this is the president of the United States, retweeting this just because the guy is a big supporter of his.
He might do this as a lame duck. He would never before the election.. his base wont allow it and think it is heroin. There are a few schools of thought and one of them is him resigning in light of his polling and overall. I think it is possible still and the likely excuse.. easy out is health. It might be one of the few times he listens to a pr group or handler and bolts out. Still i put that at low. Too much pride or thought of prosecution. If we are talking rogue and desperate.. the only move is outright mobilized obstruction and overall chaos on election day. Enough last second upheavals, protests and cops deployed along lines of portland and this next stuff in chicago and Albuquerque all in line with that. Trump data folks have all the key precincts in battle ground locations mapped out it wouldnt take much soldier/police at each one along with russia or saudi operatives to induce chaos either right before or day of . easy peasy. Would you vote still if you heard of violent clashes at many poll sites and a bombs going off at a few? also dont think for a second they wouldn't be auto labeled antifa and hence close even more polls in the moment. It wouldn't take much on east coast. A few early morning bombs to stop every one in their tracks from voting. Of course billy bob in kansas ..midwest. and all over rural will go to vote still and hence a total cluster of enough of these red states that do vote that day. It took 19 hijackers to stop the country it wouldn't even take 19 bombs and some well placed police and closed poll stations to try to make a serious dent at election day and the democrat vote. That's the thing about his base. If he starts praising BLM, a large part of his base will start praising it to. He's become a cult of personality. I've seen Trump supporters go complete 180 on policy positions just because Trump is indecisive and has no clue. If he legalized weed, I'm pretty confident most of his base are going to use it as ammo to show that Trump cares more about criminal justice reform than Biden.
