    But the potential!

He's got at least as much potential as former Rockets' legend high-pick-reclamation projects like:

    Stromile Swift
    Terrance Williams
    Jonny Flynn
    Hasheem Thabeet
    Marquese Chriss

    What could go wrong?

And remember the saying: You can't teach dumb.

Teams dont give up on their 4th pick. When they do, it means that's a lost cause already.

It really isn’t an IQ issue. He knows where to be on the floor and what is expected of him. The problem with him is that basketball is like his 4th priority because his personal life is completely in shambles. He has drug issues, lots of personal life issues with his child and girlfriend, he has issues with his family as well.

There was a point last year where he had less drama off the court and played well, but like everything else in his life... it went to **** too.

in addition to all his issues, he really isn't the brightest guy on the court. that goes for a number of guys coming out of kansas. from what i've seen there and his time in phx

I can see why people think that. He will extend himself offensively among other things. I should be more clear, I think his basketball IQ is fine for a 3-D type player. He can come off screens, can properly rotate etc.

He will never have the IQ of legitimate stars, but is bright enough to contribute.

In MDA system he could increase value for Morey to move later.

Morey needs to pull a trade right now to take some of the heat of him.
