This is from an article by Phil Rogers, Special to ESPN.com, concerning how the playoff rosters might shape up for contending teams: Astros: It would be asking a lot to pitch rookie Roy Oswalt on three days' rest in the postseason. That means Houston will need a four-man rotation, with Wade Miller and veteran Shane Reynolds the only ones currently set. Pedro Astacio, who is currently disabled, Carlos Hernandez, Tim Redding and Dave Mlicki are possibilities. The Astros also have to decide between Tony Eusebio and Scott Servais for the backup catcher's job. But like every other National League team, they must first make the playoffs. Has this guy seen a single Astros game this year, or at least followed the box scores? Eusebio has been the #1 backup for years. Why would a national columnist even ask this question? RRrrgggggg
Makes you wonder who's writing that stuff. The Astros would rather pitch Larry Dierker than throw Mlicki in the playoffs.
