Erdogan is well on his way to becoming a dictator. Trump must love the guy. He's a Turkish Putin. A "mini-Putin." I truly feel sorry for the Turkish people. They are going to regret giving Erdogan enough power to destroy their secular society. And the leader of this large NATO country keeps making noises about buying major weapon systems from countries that HATE NATO! First an anti-air system from China. We, and the rest of our European allies, had to hold his hand and explain to him that that was impossible if Turkey had any interest in remaining a part of the alliance. Now he's making noises again, this time about buying the best anti-air system the Russians make. This does not compute, and not only because of the same reasons the China sale was impossible. Russia has greedily looked at the Dardanelles for centuries. They are an ancient enemy of Turkey. The reasons the ******* is making these noises is to yank our chain, the kind of behavior a teenager might have. Kind of reminds me of the "teenager" we have in the White House.
