The Raiders put up a good fight today, but they got off to a slow start during the first 50 minutes of the game today. The 34 point hole they dug just proved to be too deep to climb out of. On the bright side today Carson Palmer actually threw more touchdowns than interceptions today. He threw 2 TDs to his own team in the valiant comeback attempt after a great touchdown pass to the Miami defense in the 3rd quarter. Other bright spots for the Raiders today were each of the 8 punts from the $12 million man Shane Lechler. Janikowski also showed why they gave him $16 million with his 2 very solid extra points. The Raiders future looks bright, but Tim Tebow's looks brighter. It was just a matter of time before he took control of the division, but the Raiders put up a great fight.
Move it to the NFL section... but honestly, who cares about the Raiders and their troll fans? The Raiders, seriously.... the freaking Raiders. If we hadn't lost to them this year, he'd have no reason to come in here. Now they lose badly to an opponent that we handled well, while we get another quality win on our resume (he said we barely had one). But seriously... move the thread.
Sorry I put it here because I was going to suggest we look to trade them TJ Yates for 3 first round picks. I think he is worth 3 first round picks since he is a better value than Carson Palmer. Mods please move if I posted in the wrong section!
Wow, Oakland lost to one of the worst teams in the L...I'm pretty sure we lost to them because of an emotional week with their owner dying. Anyone that things Carson Palmer is some kind of savior after showing what a quitter he is has some explaining to do. Wait...is someone going to come in an tell us how the Texan fans are irrational and the Raiders are the ****? Please do tell...
Eh, every team has a game where they lose to a lesser team. Happened today for the Raiders... and hell, it happened when the Texans played the Raiders. At least its clear who the lesser team is now... and also which team is better setup for the future.
I hear ya man ...the Raiders team is going to be the same for years to come with all the picks they gave up...while the Texans are going to be improving even after this great year they've had (and it's not even over yet).
Miami's 4-1 in their last 5 games, with the loss being a last second loss at Dallas. They blew out a KC team that was on a 4-game winning streak at the time by 30 points to start this little stretch. Like Denver with their turn around, Miami isn't remotely the same team that was 0-7 at one point.
No - absolutely not. Just pointing out that this result wasn't really that crazy. Miami was favored, and they were playing their best going into this game as well.
