Mobley to Toronto? Maybe?

How Cat, Eddie, and Cato for Mo Pete, Jerome WIlliams, and their #1 if it is top 2. With the #1 take Anthony. So Cat, Eddie, and Cato, for Mo Pete, Jerome, and Carmelo. Shoot, I'd even throw in a draft pick and Boki for that trade. Carmelo is going to be a superstar. Steve, Mo Pete, Carmelo, Yao, and Jerome would put us deep in the playoffs...........next year.

 

I don't agree. I think it depends on who the young talent is. When Magic and Bird came into this league, they made their teams younger...............and much, much better.........because they understand the game of basketball, had skills, and had a team first attitude.

The team that gets Anthony is going to get younger, and much much better because he understands the game, has skills, and has a great attitude. He won't be the typical rookie. You have to be able to recognize that kind of talent. It's not just the physical tools. He's got them, but his game is so much more than that. He can dissect a defense with his mind, like Yao, and know how to best beat it. At the same time, he understands what the other teams offense is trying to do and understand the most effective way to deter them. They guy is great and will be great because of his mind, attitude, and lastly...........his skill.

You gotta recognize when the truly great ones come along. Carmelo would make this team hummmm right into the playoffs.

 

carmelo anthony is going to be a great, great, great nba winner. not just a great player - a great winner.

i dont mind trading cat. but you cant have everything. you want to have darko? fine, get him...but he aint gonna be no use for 3 years or so. but then yall say...NO, we HAVE to be in the playoffs. if you wanna be in the playoffs so bad...then we need mobley to package in another deal, to get a banger PF, or starting pg.
