You are talking about the difference between the 2017 offense and the 2019 offense. You mentioned Yordan being the only real difference in the team. I’m pointing out that Brantley was a significant piece you didn’t mention.
he isn't. not when you're for whatever reason disregarding marwin. the level of difference bw the 2017 dh's just isn't compatible. theres a reason why the 2017 team are champs. they were deep which is the point from the beginning
Jab, jab, jab.... Man, this Brewers-Nats game is just a small glimpse at how quickly it can all go right or wrong.
Scherzer walked 33 guys and gave up 18 HRs during the season. He walked the leadoff batter once in 175 PAs. So of course what happens with the 1st 2 batters....
That ump blew the calls on the 1st AB. 2 strikes right down the middle that weren't called. It's small things that like that can have a big impact on the game.
Scherzer and Strasburg used up (so far). LA still to go for one of these teams. Would that be like us starting a series without JV and Greinke? A sometimes overlooked disadvantage for wild card teams.
Astros sweep the Wild Card Astros win in 6 against NYY Astros win in 5 against shockingly, the Brewers.
