For those that aren't watching, you might want to switch over for the last four minutes of this game. Much like A&M-Texas, this is the last time that these two longtime rivals will meet for the foreseeable future. Mizzou leads by three, but their lead was double figures a matter of minutes ago. Kansas has come storming back and the crowd at Phog Allen Fieldhouse is just about at a fever pitch.
The Big 12 definitely won that one, that's for sure. You picked the right "team" to support, because it sure wasn't the ones in Kansas jerseys.
Yes, it's certainly happened many, many times before. If not for the SEC move, I'd give up college sports after that game. Dead serious. That's the only thing that gives me any hope.
Kansas played such great defense in the final minutes of regulation and the entirety of overtime. If not for the brilliance (or luck factor) of Marcus Denmon, Mizzou wouldn't be in this one. Kansas is still a scary team, even without most of their starters from last year.
If by "great defense" you mean Thomas Robinson swatting Phil Pressey across the face on the follow-through of his "block", then sure. Spoiler
Thomas Robinson is a stud he's going to be a big time player on the next level. He's got a great motor wants the ball in the crunch and he measured 6"10 in shoes an has a great NBA ready body with elite athleticism and great ball handling for a pf ( he can literally bring the ball up on the break). He has a knack for finding the ball on the glass offensively and defensively(20 double doubles in 25 games) I think after the combine he will be viewed as the 2nd best prospect in this draft behind Anthony Davis. guys a big time player and when he measures out at the combine everyone will see.
