I read about this last week - you'd think someone with some say would be able to get the prosecutor to back off. The article I saw had an interview with a guy who's life he saved by getting him ice to keep his insulin cold. It's not like the sheriff commandered the ice and water for himself - all he did was try to help his people.
Exactly. He was forced into a corner by the mass inepititude of those who are pursuing prosecution. He saved lives, they caused many unecessary deaths. Charge him with stealing ice only after all the Feds are proescuted for negligent manslaughter. Which would the juries would find guilty?
