Lotteries are an incredibly stupid waste of money. Nearly 3/4 of money put in is given to the Gov't.

Eternal happiness for a dollar? I think I'm happier with the dollar.

Uhhh. Ok. They're not even remotely comparable.

If you want to debate that further, go to the thread in D&D where this kind of statement belongs.

no need to go to D&D. i was simply referring to your statement that the lottery is a stupid waste of money (which i actually agree with, but it's not as if i'm playing every week). i think that cigarettes are a stupid waste of money. that's all.

I think 30% of the money goes to schools, and our schools could really use that.

Gonna have to buy some now...can't afford to miss out on a chance.

If I win....well, I won't but if I do......my new company will not be looking so hard for investment.

Suppose I could live on that.

The first thing I would do is hire a lawyer. Then I'd worry about taking care of my family. Other than that, a lot to charities and to season tickets for Astros, Rockets, Texans, Dynamo, UT, etc. etc.

Im so going the Mutombo route and instead of donating to charities I'll just build some cool sh/t in places that need some cool sh/t. With charities you really have to trust who it's going too, personally I really only trust the salvation army, because without them I wouldn't be here today.

Would donating that 25% to charity or a State University count as a deductible.

If so I'm giving my cash to Texas and making sure I get a nice Bronze statue near the The Union.
