    finally some intellence on this board !

    I thought I was the only one who realized that Gooden would be a great compliment to Yao (but was wasted on the bench because he couldn't play with Howard)

    BTW, is it possible that a 3 way trade go through between Houston/LA/Orlando that sends Shaq+TMac to Houston, SF3+Cat+Cato to Orlando, and Yao+Hill to LA?

    Is Yao really that untouchable as people claim?

    Man this sucks. How in the hell can you trade a player like Francis who plays hard every play and is still one of the best players in the league even with that dumb s*** of a coach Van Gundy. Never pick a coach over a superstar player. This deal will comeback and bite Dawson in the ass and im gonna love it.

    no shaq please.. shaq is goin past his prime or he even PAST his prime. he's old, he's fat. id take a young, upcoming, next most dominant center in yao over shaq in a heartbeat. please, no shaq. yao and tmac, the new era of rockets basketball.

    I have a feeling "others" will involve a third team and that not all of the Francis/Cat/Cato package will be heading to Orlando.

    I hope the Rockets can get their new point guard with this trade instead of getting Howard or Gooden. They just seem redundant with Taylor already on the team.

    Just saw the report. They said they were working on a deal that could be done later today....a deal involving Mcgrady and Francis, Mobley, and Cato.

    Lol, actually I was just about to post this:

    See, this is where a 'self-ban' button would be useful.


    I know, but now Houston has no solid backup center when Yao gets 3+ fouls in the first half. :(

    Yao won't dominate, by definition, for another year or two and I still worry that T-Mac will bolt if he gets in some whiny argument with JVG.

    And Mobley will turn into a mini-Drexler; he was still getting better. :(

    I'm happy that TMac will much more than most likely be in Htown by the end of the week, but I still kind of feel bad losing all three guys.

    And at this point, I have very similar sentiments to Lil Francis. Francis will DOMINATE the East; ORl will be ranked higher than Houston next year in the playoffs; I know that's not saying much, but it will happen, especially with 3 guys who have played together for 5 years and then Okafor...


    EDIT: substitute MoTaylor for Cato and I'll take it! I just can't part with Cato, hahaha.

    don't worry - any deal invovling Yao also involves China (which has been silent on the issue)
