    Yea nene means baby and is a pretty common nickname both in Portuguese and Spanish.

    Leandro used to go by Leandrinho which means lil leandro.
    You see it a lot with brazilian where they do the diminutive of their names like Ronaldinho or Fernandinho.

    Nene played great tonight, his finishing in the paint, and most importantly his DEFENSE on the switches was great.

    He doesn't always play good D, but it seems like he can when he wants to / has the energy for it, hope he really brings it in the playoffs.
