Maybe this is why LeBron never considered Houston?

General assumption of people who don’t know what they are talking about?

If Curry didn’t exist Klay would be the best shooter in the league.

Draymond Green is a perennial DPOY candidate and one of the most verstaile defenders in the league.

Our “superior depth” turned out to be like CC. May have been an asset against every other team, but not this one.

I think he did consider at ine point but Magic J. is what swayed him to LA. Probably why he so salty about him leaving. He some how feels justified for picking LA. Yet he was watching the playoffs from home....

This whole Morey and Analytic ball is bs. There is nothing wrong with taking high percentage shot. Circumstances call for different decisions. Maybe a open 2 would be better than a contested 3 but the players have to read the situation and decide accordingly. We just didnt have a enough talent period. We haven't had a traditional PF since Scola and Mo Taylor. We try to get bang for our buck on our talent when in actuality we are getting B- PLAYERS compared to Warrior's A+ players.

you're actually referring to the very board you're posting on then. funny how when they get beat, they're "exposed"

when the rockets fail to capitalize, they become greatness in the eyes of the same people who downplay them just to make it seem like it isn't so bad

    Bingo.

In the last two playoff series, Rockets have actually overachieved while the Warriors have underachieved based on talent gap alone.

What, Dwightmare isn't enough drama for you people? You actually want to bring in a far more destructive franchise killing cancer who plays a style you just love to despise and has a losing record against the Warriors?

Well the thing is this board, after losses and especially after playoff eliminations, is 95+% just vomit garbage knee jerk diarrhea.

    Objectivity is extremely rare.

LeBron has plenty time to tweet since he's no longer cake-walking through the EC playoffs.

Stop with the revisionist history. LBJ wanted to be a movie star, that’s why Houston was never seriously considered. End of discussion.

No doubt its more convenient for him to be there, but what movie are you talking about??? Space Jame? Lol That man aint no movie star. He didn't need LA to be a movie star if he wanted to.

Maybe Houston never considered LeBron because he is a mediocre (career 34%) 3pt shooter.

I would take Klay or Donkey over anyone else on this roster not named Harden without question...if Klay and Donkey are role players, then they are the best role players in the NBA

Capela was Kelvin Cato in this series, and CP3 literally had 1 good game...dude wasn’t even shooting 40% from the field heading into game 6

If Harden played how Curry did the 1st 4 games and most of game 5, the Rockets would’ve been swept. Curry doesn’t have the burden of needing to show up every single night like Harden. Curry showed up for 3 quarters of a 6 game series, but hey, I guess playing like trash and being bailed out by your teammates for 80+% of a series is what real superstars do unlike Harden who was the best or 2nd best player in this series.

I don't think that's true...but it would have been interesting to see how they adapted to each other.

but Kyrie was also ball dominant, and they figured it out (or at least LeBron did).

I think the Curry team would still win. Heck if Curry got hurt instead of Durant then the rockets would have won. Generally the team with the best player wins

The rockets starters unable to develop a big lead against Klay and scrubs is an indictment of how poorly they played. It doesn't mean Klay is a superstar

And if they came here, people would complain that Klay can't handle the ball, can't create his own shot, is overrated on D, and Draymond is a horrible shooter who can't shoot 3s and doesn't spread the floor

Exactly. This board has been mostly trashing those guys as overrated until Harden can't beat them

speak for yourself...like I said, I’m taking them over anyone on this roster not named Harden without hesitation

Why is it that all NBA greats make such horrific analysts? Lebron sounds like he'll fit in well on TNT after retirement.

They are overrated, but that doesn’t mean they can’t ball. Everyone says that Draymond wouldn’t be as good if he was on another team or that Klay would get exposed if he had to lead his own team, but they were still on GS for games 5 and 6 last time I checked. They are perfect in their roles on that team. Klay leading his own team would get exposed. Draymond’s defense and playmaking will carry over to any team, but GS still masks whatever flaws he may have. So yeah, overrated, but I would switch supporting casts with them in a heartbeat and give Harden Klay and Donkey instead of CP0, EG, and trash ass Clint.

Klay IS a superstar. Dude's the 2nd best shooter arguably in history.

How many role players get 30 pt games while not being a defensive liability? Klay is both consistent and dynamic, dude can go off like GG but his defense and offball movement will always be there no matter how his shot is falling.

If Rockets had Klay Thompson instead of Cp3 they would've beaten GSW by now.
