    Peterson is still the best.

I'm not saying he's not a great player, he's just not the best/most talented right now.

THere is a difference between being a pro-bowl caliber running back and being the best one.

I think Chris Johnson and Adrian Peterson would have something to say.

Arian Foster is averaging over 100 yards per game for his career. Stephen Jackson is a great dual threat in the Marshall Faulk mold.

Gotta agree although he did have a fumbling issue coming in. 19 fumbles (12 lost) in his first 3 seasons. Zero this season so it seems like he has cleaned up that part of his game.

You understand that there is a difference between being REALLY, REALLY GOOD and being THE BEST, right??? Nobody is doubting that he is phenomenal, but your thread title says "THE BEST RUNNING BACK IN THE LEAGUE." While MJD is really effing good, he is NOT better than Adrian Peterson or Chris Johnson. Plain and simple.

If I was drafting a RB to build around right now, I'd go with:

    1. Peterson
    2. Johnson
    3. Foster
    4. McFadden
    5. MJD
    6. Hillis
    7. Charles
    8. Bradshaw
    9. Mendenhall
    10. Rice

I wont say hes the best but dude is a beast. Hes so small but at the same time so tough. I still like Steven Jackson as the best I think he would put up monster type numbers with an good line.

I dont think he brings the leadership, blocking ability, and catching ability MJD bring.

He MIGHT be a better runner, but he also has a better offensive line.

Jones-Drew is carrying this Jags team on his back right now.

Maurice Jones-Drew is definitely the best RB on the Jaguars.

That's obviously debatable. MJG is great. Foster is def better in the passing game.

    I've seen Foster run more.

His receiving has been solid according to his stats, but I dont think Jones-Drew gets enough dump offs Foster may get????

Does Foster get a lot of screens? Give me some analysis on his receiving game if you can..
