There is a point when someone becomes a fan, I am at my tipping point with the Texans.

Unlike the Oilers who were my team growing up, I don't live in Houston, so I did not have that connection with the Texans.

I tried, but David Carr sucked so badly and they kept running him out there that I felt there were inept....

Now that they got Schaub, and Johnson and Williams, and Cushing and Ryans...and Jacob(No..not him).....I have grown to like em a little bit more.

If you want to call me a bandwagoner, Meh...couldn't care less.....

Everyone has their own criteria of fandom...

I followed the Titans for years after they left, and when they drafted Vince they were still kind of my team.....but slowly that wears off.....I still like the Titans in any game they are not playing the Texans though...lol.

Ya same here. The Titans team that went to the SB was basically ours. Things changed though thanks to Bob Mcnair. What a wonderful man

I've also been a UT fan since I was young so obviously I had love for VY but he was drafted by the Titans. The more they lose, the better it is for us.

so you're going to do rankings after every damn game? that's not how it works. to be great, you have to be consistent for more than just ONE game (he was pretty mediocre in the first game). you also have to do it v. great defenses consistently.

he can be top 5, but there is NO WAY he's above brady and brees. at least not yet.

    stop the homerism.

Apparently you didn't read the post after this one did you? Of course Brees and Brady are above Matt for their careers but this season two games in Matt is my number 3. Brees could change that tonight and Brady hasn't been anything special so far. Yes, only 2 games in but that is the sample size available.

uh, after 2 games, jay cutler is the best QB in the league. so do you really want to assess it that way?

Actually, you make a great point...I'd forgotten about Cutler. I would prefer Schaub but Cutler has been great. He is PLAYING as one of the best in the league and that is all I am saying. Not who is the best but who is PLAYING the best so far and Cutler is one of them, I guess I should have been more clear on that my fault on that.

    going by 2 weeks:

    1) cutler
    2) manning
    3) vick
    4) rivers
    5) schaub/brees

personally at the end of the year for me:

    1) manning

    2) brees
    3) brady
    4) rodgers
    5) rivers

i think a lot of people underrate phillip rivers. schaub may have a chance to crack that but the 5 i mentioned are extremely consistent and efficient and they win games.

Vick? really? He played well against the Lions. Detroit isn't as horrendous as they were in recent years, but a strong performance against them doesn't put Vick in the top 3...

Cutler, Manning, Schaub, Brees, Brady, Sanchez, and McNabb all look better than Vick after two weeks. And those are only games I've watched.

Since the reply reminded me of Big poppa..
"Imagine play action to your satisfaction,
    but the Haters stay hating,
    underestimating, the 95 qb rating,
throwing for madden numbers before everybody had em'
    However, I stay bootleggin'
    arm accurate as ever.
safety blitzes and fat al are the only things I fear,
    Quarterback matt schaub here!

I love it when you call me crazy eight. bug your eyes out if youz a true player "

    :p
