    This is so bizarre. lol. This is the dude that was saying the Lakers were the place to be ... the historical franchise ... the destination. Then one day, he woke up, farted and basically said "I'm done"?

    Either he knew his head was on the chopping block or he couldn't handle the job or something else going on. lol.

    Couldn't happen to a better franchise. Well, maybe the Jazz.

    After hearing Magic speech I believe him. He seems like the type that would miss not being able to mentor and kick it with other players. It’s a stressful job and it’s not like he needs it. Go be happy. A GM gig is for the obsessive types.

    He could have waited even a single day and resign in the offseason for personal reasons, but noo he had to give a perfomance and make it about me me me to save face for his incompetence and irresponsibillity.


    Anyway horrible news for the rest of the league. Lakers will be hard pressed to find a more incompetent POBO than that for the others to take advantage of.

    Woudn't be surprised if Lakers strike out in free agency this summer, Jeanie Buss decides to take back her team, and trades a 35-year-old declining LeBron much like she threatened to do earlier this season.

    Imagine the spicy drama potential of that power move.

    Lavar is probably speaking it into existence at this very moment.
