    Totally agree. But you know if the crime rate ticked up instead of down, Mamdani would have been pilloried for it even though he would have been no more responsible for the loss than he was for the actual gain.

    But, yeah, its bs crowing about this like a Mamdani win, just like Trump's crime-fighting claims are bs. And, I can't be calling BS on Trump and let this slide. The crime phenomenon is bigger than any single politician.
