I never got a M3 for my birthday, but I use one anyway. It's cheaper than using that Venus ****. I don't need an extra moisturizing strip, and I'm sure as hell not gonna pay an extra few bucks for it. Plus Venuses don't come in purple. :(

Ha, yea, love the liquid to foam soap. Im not against the idea of motion sensored, i thinks its great, like stated above, there are filthy bastards that DONT wash their hands. All this talk reminds me of Ben Stiller's character in Along Came Polly.

The only reason I tried the Quattro was because I finally ran out of Mach 3 blades after about 3 years. I had boxes of the stuff I bought at 75% off. The look on the apartment complex folks faces was classic. I had about 8-10 large boxes of soap, shampoo, razor blades, etc. when PlanetRx.com went out of business when the Dot Com bubble burst. :)

    PHARMACIST: Can I help you?

ELAINE (with little hope): Yeah, do you have any Today sponges? I know they're off the market, but...

PHARMACIST: Actually, we have a case left.

ELAINE (excited): A case! A case of sponges? I mean, uh...a case. Huh. Uh...how many come in a case?

    PHARMACIST: Sixty.

ELAINE: Sixty?! Uh...well, I'll take three.

    PHARMACIST: Three.

    ELAINE: Make it ten.

    PHARMACIST: Ten?

ELAINE: Twenty sponges should be plenty.

    PHARMACIST: Did you say twenty?

ELAINE: Yeah, twenty-five sponges is just fine.

PHARMACIST: Right. So, you're set with twenty-five.

ELAINE: Yeah. Just give me the whole case and I'll be on my way.

I used it earlier today, It was a pretty nice shave... I usually have to go around twice with most blades, but this did pretty well the first time around.(i had grown quite the stubble) O yea, its not worth buying tho, just for using the free sample... ill stick to my Mach 3 turbo...

I used the Quatro. I like it even though I hate shaving. I can usually get everything on the first pass.

Are you guys saying the Mach 3 is better than the Quatro?

I just wanted to add that I too am a Mach 3 turbo faithful. I have to shave every day (although I don't), so I need something smooth.

That 4th blad is just overkill. So I think the Mach 3 (Turbo) is the best by bar. The Quattro gave me alot of razor burn.

Of course, I shave dry, so that doesn't help.

This new razor is $14. For a quasi disposable razor, that's expensive. I don't know how these companies can charge more than two bucks for a replacement blade. Their profit margin must be huge.

 Are you kidding? I use a half bottle of cream and a half bottle of after shave every time I shave. Otherwise, my face burns all day long.

I havent used shaving cream in years. The only think I do is to wash my head, face and neck before, to make the hairs stand up. But then I make sure I am dried off completely before I start shaving.
