I don't care who JVG plays off the bench...as long as he rests our starters and playmakers enough throughout the game so that they don't collapse offensively and defensively in the 4th.

But yeah, I'm with robgue - JVG is the coach for us and Billy needs to buck up. Rafer is a little too shot-happy at times but at least he tries.. I fully expect his shot attempts to go down with both Yao and Tracy in the lineup

and I applaud the lurkers for speaking up and letting the world know that the loudmouth whiners dont speak for all of clutchfans, like it would seem to the uninitiated if they just looked at the overall mood of the board.

Im not a huge fan of the coach, but I do highly respect his work ethic and the ethic he expects out of his players. It mirrors my viewpoint...work hard and good things will come to you.

I like my team being known for a smothering defense
I like that they are known as a team that will fight hard every second of the game, every game.
I like that management chooses guys who have good morals and good work ethic.

Is it a sign you're on the BBS way too much if you actually recognize the monikers of the lurkers?

 

we have the leauge's 6th best record, and our two star players have been hurt for large chunks of the year, and one of our 2 big offseason acquisitions (bonz) has only played a handfull of games, and theough all this, our defense (the most coachable element of a team) is first or 2nd best in the leauge. If you think JVG is a bad coach, you probably drink your lunch every day--with almost any other coach in the league this team mediocre or worse.

I dont honestly know how the lurkers about the place have managed to stay quiet for so long.

Surely you guys, the hardore Rocks fan amongst you, fel the need to get your opinion out there more often? Or at least bash the rookies (like me ) for their, more often than not, ridicolous and uneducated comments.

I hate how every year our second round picks are the next Gilbert Arenas.
I hate how people's expectations are so ridiculously high all the time without taking in the facts.

I love JVG because how many coaches can bring that kind of camaraderie to a team. The only thing that matters is the team.
Most importantly, I love this team past, present, and future.

 

I take it back, lurkers are welcome here! come to think about it, I used to lurk once upon the time.
