Rose is not top 5 point guard, ergo he is not in top tier. Takes 5 threes per game and choke on free throws late in the game.

He shot 6% in the clutch in last year's ECF vs. Miami. He was taking 8 three pointers per game in that series even though he's got no game outside 10 feet. I think he is about 35% from midrange. Doesn't give effort on defense despite his quickness and atleticism. One of the worst MVP ever.

But that just goes to show how important rose is to the Bulls. They were an ecf team last season and were knocked out in the first round by an eight seed without him. He commanded double teams which opened the floor for shooter like korver and deng and Boozer in the post. He makes his teammates better. You worry too much about individual stats. You mention him choking when he's had plenty of game winners including one against the rockets which happened to be a 3.

according to this logic this would make lebron a 2nd tier sf before this year.

theres no category or requirements to what makes a first tier pg or sf. but rose is definitely top 3 when healthy. shooting 5 three pointers a game does not suddenly diminish your skills. hes the primary ballhandler (something im sure youre very experienced in) and it requires doing whatever the f he wants

Lebron impact the game also on things other than scoring. Rose doesn't. He is in 2nd tier with Irving and Nash, but he can't touch top 5(Paul, Westbrook, Williams, Parker, Rondo).

tell me rondos ft avg. also tell me what westbrooks shot attempts per game are. and also the per of all of the top 5 players as opposed to rose.

you have so many double standards brah, somehow rose doesnt affect the game in more than one way even though he plays for one of the top defensive teams in the league??? cmon man your iq must be lower than fortsons scoring avg holy crap

You just mention two best defensive and rebounding PG. Westbrook is better shooter and slighty better scorer. Rondo is best passer and elite floor general.

Funny that you mention Rondo in the top 5 as opposed to rose, especially when Rondo is a career 24% 3 pt shooter and a 61% ft shooter compared to rose's 31% from 3 and 81% ft. Only thing Rondo has an advantage at is his passing and you could maybe argue his rebounding, but rose is better at pretty much everything else.

    Fail troll is fail....
