Considering Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the country and has a high Hispanic and Latin community, why don't we have a Los Rockets jersey? The Knicks, Heat, Lakers, Suns, Spurs, and Bulls have them, so why wouldn't we? Are any of you opposed to this?
Yeah, I do think it's lame. I'm not saying I like the idea, but I was just wondering why I haven't seen this from us.

Spanish speaking fans tend to go with the english name, rather than translating it, hence "los rockets"
Because we have no national games or star. It's a gimmick to sell jerseys and Houston has no one to market or market to. We wore those jerseys when T-Mac was here.
I've always thought that putting "Los" in front of the team name was just plain lazy. I really think the NBA should follow these examples from MLB:
Maybe I don't understand Hispanic culture. if they didn't want to translate "Rockets" why would they want to add "Los" in front of it? Or should it be pronounced "Rowkets"?
