So I'm the process of producing a short film this month, and Im looking for some interesting locations I can shoot in. Im hoping that through the powers of CF I can find some unique places. Even better if you have your own property or business. Thats if you dont mind me filming on it.

Anything suggestions/offers will greatly be appreciated!

It should depend what your story is about and what type of "feel" you are going for. Houston has a very diverse look in different areas.

Get the free 2011 Houston production Guide from the Houston Film Commission it will have all the information you need on everything even good locations /Thread

I dont know if you do film recreationally or professionally but if your filming on any commercial properties even with their consent make sure you have them fill out the proper paperwork. I worked on a degree in film and it is pretty crucial, I've had to do it for everything I've been involved in (student films, indie films, debra duncan, Hoarders).

Ditto, go to the Houston Film Commission office and they will help you find locations free of charge. Contact Alfred Cervantes, real nice guy, and will help you find what you are looking for.

I believe he's shooting a sequel to My Life, starring Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman.
