I like Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Justified Girlfriend likes The Office, Dexter, CSI Looking for middle ground. Andd.... go!
I'm gonna say Parks & Rec, Workaholics & SOA. Mad men is also very good. Btw if you find a series that you want to watch & it's not on Netflix you can watch almost any TV show here: http://cokeandpopcorn.eu/
Parks & Rec for sure. ^^^ Other than that I would suggest Wilfred, Louie, Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, and Weeds (it goes down hill after a while).
Girlfriend loved Orange is the New Black... I suppose it appeals to woman, but enjoyable none the less.
Skins (season 1-2) Luther FRINGE Sherlock Shameless American Horror Story (season 1) Friday Night Lights
Workaholics (Streaming) is in an office and home setting, targeted towards younger guys and is a full on comedy; very "vulgar" humor and a good back-and-forth between the guys. Louie (Streaming) is with Louis C.K., standup comedian in New York with his two kids. Can be slow paced at times but people who like his standup would probably like the show. Could be considered "vulgar" as well. Good Wife (Disks) is in an office/court setting, deals with criminal cases from time to time and has a marriage and an on-and-off extramarital affair. Good Wife lawyers are all liberal/Democratic, but that doesn't affect most of the discussions or what side of the case they're on. Boston Legal (Disks) is in an office/court setting, deals with criminal cases sometimes as well, but is complete satire and parody. The jokes and humor are targeted towards older people, and all the cases are used to discuss political issues from a completely liberal perspective.
Will also concur with everyone recommending Parks & Rec. Pretty much an Office clone, but impressively targeted towards younger adults. Your girlfriend will like my Poehler's character, and Chris Pratt's character is good at first and improves into a Kramer type goofball by season two.
