I am a big fan of Naruto - It is incredibly clever to me. Alot of good Lessons for kids 1. Naruto 2. Death Note 3. Akira Legend of the Overfiend and Claymores and Vampire Hunter D/ ninja Scroll Rocket River old school
Yu Yu Hakusho is one of my favorites and one of the few I've rewatched multiple times. I'm always a fan of mechas like the Gundam series.
Anybody remember that anime on cartoon network in the early to mid 2000's that resembled Gundam....there would be a person inside of the robot but the robots were animal like in moves, fighting ect, on all fours...
I wish I watched more anime but... Berserk is my GOAT, watch the original (it's all on youtube) Psycho Pass Cowboy Bebop
Neon Genesis Evangelion: amazing series that will f--- with your head. Take the time to find out what a lot of the imagery means and it just makes its all the more interesting Berserk: I'd call this an amazing story of perseverance. I hope they get to adapt more stuff that happened after the original anime ended because it gets even more interesting Cowboy Bebop: awesome characters. Spike Spiegel is easily one of the coolest characters in anime. Hope they do another movie one day to revisit these great characters Plus...I will always have a special place in my hear for Dragonball Z was one of my first animes I watched that I didn't even know was anime. Thought it was just another Saturday morning cartoon back in the day
Code Geass- Lelouch the main character is the most intriuging character anime has to offer. Plus great plot and pace. Parasyte- Really good fight scenes. Main character is relatable and resilient\ Bleach- Music plot characters are all top notch. Some of the best fight scenes anime has to offer. Skip fillers....
I think we might be OK Friends as well. Except, I just watch Doraemon n dun think about rating it too much. I really enjoyed Inuyasha in my younger years, they messed up some of the later episodes.
Haikyuu - About an underdog high school volleyball team. I was hooked almost instantly; it does such a good job letting you get to know all the characters that it's impossible not to like everyone. GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) - It's about a guy who previously was the leader of a biker gang, who becomes a high school teacher. Know that it starts out rather pervy, but that aspect takes a backseat pretty quickly, and it just becomes a feel-good story. Death Note - I have to admit I think the quality of this drops off a bit after episode 11 or so, but even then it's still better than 90% of stuff that's out there. I didn't like it based on the first episode alone, but at the end of episode 2, I was hooked. Extremely clever writing and suspense in this one. I also really like Mushishi. Also, Berserk is a great anime, but since it's only a tiny portion of the manga, it's woefully inconclusive.
People have already named alot of the good shows, so I'll list some of the dark horses that left an impression on me. 1. Requiem for a Phantom - brainwashed assassins doing the mob's work. A bit like the movies Assassins and The Professional. 2. Ergo Proxy - A bit Blade Runner inspired, humans live in domed cities where androids are going crazy 3. Erased - This one is recent and fairly short but it really left an impression on me. It's a murder mystery that sorta takes place in two different time periods. Of course my other favorites are already listed above, Bleach, Naruto, HxH, Psycho Pass, Claymore, Berserk, Attack on Titan, etc.
