Anyone else find it ironic that Russell comes to Houston of all places to rehab?!? Isn't H-town the home of Purple Drank?

Well, I would imagine that it would have to take a hell of a lot to give up on a person...JR is who he is and if he isn't committed, then its a lost cause...
Jamarcus is so pathetic that someone doesn't want to get paid to be around him and do nothing. That's pretty telling.
Seriously, how much does it say when John Lucas basically tells Russell, "Take me off your payroll, because no amount of money is enough to keep me around you." What an extra large waste of space. He basically had every opportunity given to him on a silver and black platter, and instead of working even minimally hard just to simply stay in the league, he instead lazes around and does absolutely nothing except design overtly ugly pieces of jewelry for himself to wear.
I think I mentioned this when the Raiders first cut ties with him but when I realized that the dude would be out of the NFL soon was when I covered the Raiders game in Houston a couple seasons ago. The Texans won that game and after the game I'm waiting as the Raiders players are walking back to the locker room. Most of the players were visibly upset at the loss, not Jamarcus though. The starting qb on an NFL team was more jovial than the long snapper or 3rd string right tackle after a loss in an NFL game. Half an hour later and I'm in the room and Nnamdi Asomugha is still so ticked off at the loss. Gerard Warren is still fuming. Yet the starting qb is making merry while putting on his ice. I thought Jamarcus' attitude was disgusting and worrisome. Absolute loser.
Unfortunately for him, I believe he's already bankrupt. http://bankruptcycourtonline.com/ba...ure-sacks-former-oakland-raiders-quarterback/
