Time to buy the wife a new (to us) car this weekend. Tired of pouring money into our 2010 Explorer. I'm considering these cars: 2017 Infiniti QX60 (there are tons of these out there.. I wonder why) 2017 GMC Acadia 2017 Acura MDX w/Tech Package(?) 2017 Buick Enclave 2017 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring I'm looking for something roomy and dependable. All will have less than 50K miles, so not sure about the factory warranties. All are around the same price, so just wondering what the car gurus around here think would be my best bet?
Not a car expert...I would go with the Infiniti or Acura. There are tons of those models on the road. Tons of parts for future DIY maintenance. Both brands have solid reps for quality.
We had a 17 Acadia Denali Nice and roomie but underpowered. Dont pull out in traffic. It drives heavy.
Acadia and Enclave are the biggest. Would definitely be worth sitting in to see if they fit your needs. I think the Acura is pretty tight in the back (The Fast Lane Car just did an Acura VS Pilot comparison).
Sadly, my opinion of those brands are from what I remember from years ago. I personally haven't shopped either...so I'm not shocked that my view may no longer be up-to-date.
acura mdx pre- 2017( before the ugly shark's looks ) would be my choice , a friend has one, it held up so far quite well, with the exception to relatively poor fuel economy
Has anybody driven the Buick Regal TourX? Always been an interesting car to me. Also, FCA just released the first few pics of the new Jeep Grand Wagoneer. https://www.motorauthority.com/news/1129473_jeep-grand-wagoneer-concept-takes-aim-at-big-luxury
Friend has the Regal TourX. I have driven it. It is an average car all around. As for the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the best SUV’s on the market right now are Lincoln’s. Right now they are the most underrated car division. Over the last 3-4 years their quality and engineering has impressed.
None of them are fantastic for reliability/value. The Mazda CX didn’t sell well if I remember correctly but is the most dependable of the vehicle you listed. I would actually look at Kia’s in 2018 for dependability in your price range.
I need to replace the touchscreen on a cadillac CTS will not respond and it randomly switches from bluetooth to other inputs. I have seen some youtube stuff about swaps but where should I buy a replacement from and can I upgrade it? 2017 CTS.
