The way the team fought against Iowa State, and the way House took over at the end showed me a TON about the potential this team has in the tournament. If they defend and rebound like they've been doing, we might be talking about getting to see them in Houston at the end of March.
Yep, and we have yet to see this team play as well as they can. Hell, I don't know that I've seen a game in the past 2 months where Jalen Jones and House had it going on the same night.
18-2 start was nice but slowly/surely coming back to the pack. On the verge of dropping another one. (Would be 1-4 in last 5) 7 games left then the SEC tournament.
The Aggies had two free throws to basically win the game. 93% free throw shooter. Missed both. Really?
Yep, this whole team has tightened up. Jones is out of control near the basket. His shot chart would not look pretty within 4 feet of the basket during this losing streak. Guys like Hogg and Gilder are playing scared and not taking shots we need them to take. Danuel House cannot have 1 shot in the first half of a game. And Caruso needs to control the damn ball and quit turning it over. The potential for this team is there, but they need to completely regroup as a team. The next 3 games are going to be tough with LSU, Ole Miss, and KY. I think the coaching problem is rearing its head right now. All teams go through this, and it is up to the coach to pull them out of the tailspin and get their minds right. So far, Kennedy has shown he is just as much a part of the problem when things get tight.
Dropped another. Limping towards the finish line. Ole Miss, Kentucky, Miss. State, @Missouri, @Auburn, Vanderbilt
Big game on primetime for A&M as they play against Kentucky tonight. Plus, the ESPN College Gameday show is at Reed Arena.
Yeah, and they tried to give the game to the 'Cats, both at the end of regulation & overtime. Whatever, I'll take the W.
It was weak but I didn't agree with Bilas. That rule is set in stone. It gets called every time. To not enforce it now, because of the immediate circumstances - that'd be poor judgement.
Huge game against Vandy on Saturday... Jalen has been getting on my nerves lately, so tired of him forcing up terrible shots every time he touches the ball
