Obviously I cannot include the Championship from 2015-16 against the 73 Win warriors, however I am sure it would rank in favor of Lebron ( atleast the GSWs, not so much maybe his competition in the East).

    Without the 15-16 championship:
MJ Average rank of team played against during his championships: 336.375
LeBron average rank of team played against during his championships (sans 15-16): 374

I do not believe this approximate 40 rank difference is a huge difference, especially considering ELO ranking differential between rank 663 and and 367 are 61 ELO points (Composite). So to say that MJ played better/tougher competition for his championships is arguable, I can agree with it but not the the extent that people make it out to be. Also this data set does not include his last championship in 15-16 where he defeated the arguably GOAT team in the 73-9 Warriors (which would jump team rank significantly imo, even if it were a top 15 team).

Anyway, just did a bunch of data crunching for nothing but fun. Hope this all made sense.

If I were putting together my all time all star GOAT team, I'd probably make LeBron my point guard. Guess that makes him closer to magic to me
