Lebron was confirmed to be apartment hunting in, looking at a 15M apartment in the new Time Warner center in Columbus Circle in Manhattan. It doesn't mean he'll play for the Knicks because other NBA players like Z and Nash have cribs there but the Knick fans must thinking this is sign from the gods. http://www.businessinsider.com/confirmed-lebron-looked-at-this-15-million-manhattan-apartment-2010-6
15 m apartment...ridiculous. I know he has endorsements out the wazoo, but still these guy wonder why they go broke...
Damn. I don't even know what I would do with a 15 million dollar apartment.......never leave it I guess.
Yeah, this isn't a $15 million house in Akron, Ohio. You can practically consider an NYC apartment at this price an investment.
rumors, there was a similar report about chicago a month ago http://articles.chicagotribune.com/...-20100519_1_highland-park-lebron-james-rumors
The irony is his place in Akron which cost him 3M and has a bowling alley and casino and is 30,000 sq ft compared to this place in NY which has 3br and baths and is less than 3,000 sq ft. The place is almost too small for his kids and his mom to stay, he'll probably need bunk beds for his kids lol.
The irony lies squarely in your stupidity. 1. The location ensures it's going to be a good investment (Columbus Circle) 2. Players buy downtown condo's to get away from their families, preferably to unwind with a booty call or two
Did you not read the writers comments GAH $5,671 a sq. ft. Its bozos like you that caused the real estate bubble, at that price its very likely it might never appreciate.
New York is not Houston or Kansas City. I seriously doubt if James, assuming he's actually buying a pad in Manhattan, is getting an over-priced dive. You would be amazed at the real estate prices there.
Lebron has been looking at places in Dallas as well. This all means nothing except that he is considering these areas.
Lebron was spotted in line for a taco from a roach coach behind a home depot in southwest houston...just bought my lebron rocket jersey!
