Latest on Yao...... like I mentioned in the NO game thread, regarding his injured ankle and foot (someone also post a new thread about the sprain ankle), but he just had MRI earlier today.

As much as I want to be optimistic, it looks like we need to brace ourselve for the worst.......

    What? Can this be confirmed?

He was at practice today......maybe this is just precautionary.

If he does skip the Wizards game that would give him 5 days off from the Chicago game.

It might be beneficial for the long run....

When people with low post counts come out of the woodwork to post strange things it always scares me.

I would think the "worst" case would be that he misses both the Wizards and Grizzlies game. A sprained ankle doesn't usually keep bothering someone for more than a week or so... Especially if it wasn't even bad enough to keep him from finishing the NOH game, or playing the Bulls game.

... Unless you're saying there is more to it than an ankle sprain. If that's the case, tell us.

Sprained ankle doesnt need MRI. Doc usually let it heal before order MRI. Cross my fingers, its not torn something. But again, Yao wont be able to walk on his own if something in his foot was torn, let alone scoring and dunking.
