    I don't know about that. I would concede that Farmar is probably about as good as Fisher now and has a higher ceiling. But guess who Phil Jackson will trust comes playoffs time?

    Strange, his numbers haven't dropped much since his Shaq-Kobe days. It is true that he has to play off of superstars to be effective. He's not much of a passer and doesn't make his teammates better. But he has always been, and still is, a dependable shooter when left open.

    Man, I can't believe I am defending Derek freaking Fisher. Few players annoy me as much as he does. :mad:

    That might be a bit of a reach...On the surface it looks a little silly but its MUCH deeper than that...

    Wouldnt it piss you off a little if a good friend of yours rejoined your team, and his last team booed the F' outta him even though it was for a good cause? Some of the Lakers probably know Fisher's daughter, so they may take it like they're booing HER. Odom had an infant son that died 2 years ago also...Its not like they dedicated the season to Fisher's honor. They just extra motivated themselves the one game.
